The Magician Reversed

Does any one have some insight on this card as to how it relates to magic? I pulled this card out twice recently when inquiring about the possibilities in my future love life. I'm not sure what to make of it. Does any one think it means that I should not use magic to bring new love into my life or that the magic will backfire on me if I use it to bring love into my life?

The magician is about being versatile in your ability to tackle a situation. The magician reversed is being forced to be limited or limiting yourself when you shouldn't. So either you have very few options or you are not utilizing all of your available avenues.

If thats what you think it is telling you then that may very well be the case. If you are not confident in your intent then your spell will fail anyway.

Thanks for your advice! I do feel like I am limited in some ways due to the obstacles I've faced time and time again but I'm trying to remain hopeful that this time things will change. Barbi, I understand why you would think my intent isn't strong enough based on my question but it was just weird for me to get that card since I never picked that card out in the last 2 years of using tarot cards. It made me think that maybe the magick had something to do with receiving this card all of a sudden. I think my intent is strong, and that I have a lot of faith that my recent spells will work the way they are meant to. They are one of the few things that motivate me to not give up when I start feeling down about my current situation. :)

the more old fashion advice is, a magician reversed will appear to be a magician who wants to guide you, if not romance you. it might mean, try not to let this person fool you because he might be very intresting at first, but has major problems deep inside. it might also mean someone tricky or putting on a con act to get your energy and move on.

Okay. But i propose this question. In order for a spell to work dont you need to be utterly confident that you should do the spell as in order to be confident in your intent? I beleive in love and spells. Im not a hater. But you need to be completely confident about doing a spell. When i sense doubt creepin in i say, "god and goddess, please forgive me, please bless me" and if that doesnt work then i stop what im doing until a later time. When it feels right.

MoonWina13, thanks for insight, hopefully I wont be dealing with any con artist men soon but I’ll atleast be able to spot them out and get away from them if needed.

Barbi, I understand what you mean, and I don’t think you were being a hater at all. You are just trying to help me and I genuinely appreciate all of the wonderful advice that I have gotten from this site so far. I completely agree with you that a spell should not be done when it does not feel like the right time, and that there should be a complete amount of confidence when casting one. I think that once I lose any doubts about myself as a person, and stop having that thought in the back of my mind like certain things I want to achieve are nearly “impossible” given my history, then I can be more successful with my spells. Maybe I need a time out from spell casting until then and the card could’ve been indicating that for me.
