By definition, I am technically an indigo child; however, I abandon the tags or labels typically associated with people that have psychic or spiritual abilities. Instead, I try to better myself and my abilities and learn from others like myself. (That, in and of itself is one of the reasons I use the forums on SoM.) I mean, hey, I'm nineteen, almost twenty; yet, I know things I shouldn't... understand things I shouldn't... hear and see things that others don't. Am I psychic, or crazy? It all depends on who you ask.
I just got to thinking about my post. I hope I wasn't misunderstood as I believe that people can be born with psychic abilities and many others believe this, but from what I've seen Indigo Children, Crystal Children, etc... as a whole aren't widely believed in as anyone born in the last...decade or so possessing psychic abilities could be labeled an indigo child by this broad defintion. In the end we will see what happens of course but considering the way this world is turning I don't see anyone ushering in a new era of peace though I know that sounds pessimistic.

I don't think peace will be reached with this generation or the next, but we I think that we may change the course if things to allow it to happen within the extended future. Change will occur though social systems only last about a 200 years or so, so we are in for a change sometime soon.

I do have special abilities that allow me to visit the spirit world, see spirits, talk to spirits, and even be harmed by them. Also in my dreams I can feel, see, smell, hear, taste things. Plus if I harm myself in dreams when I wake up my wounds are still there. It's weird.
