I was meditating yesterday,but broke out of trance because of the noise of a car,and when I did,I saw the whole area around me was darker,and yes I was meditating on my darker side.Any suggestions or ideas on what it might be?

It could have just been the coalescence of darkness since your meditative intention was to connect with your darker side. Lighting is sensitive to mood and vice versa while in a trance. It was probably the vibrations of your energy as you sunk deeper into your meditative state, therefore projecting a stronger ambience of calignosity. Also depending on the lighting where you were meditating it could have just been a play of shadows. That's just my impression of the incident.
