Grounding and centering should have been included in a discussion of energy. That being said, I don't delve too much into exploring "energy" and the various methodology here because once one is actually doing such things and not simply imagining it one should likely have read more than vague concepts of the basics.
I didn't delve too much into shielding because it quite easily becomes quite the debatable subject, and there are many different approaches to it depending on the tradition.
The intent of this is to basically try to cover of the points where I feel many folks seem to be lost when first beginning their studies. The rest comes with practice and education. This is by no means a beginners course.
Thank you awake. This helped me have a better understanding of what I need to start off with. I am very inexperienced. So I feel meditation would be the best bet to start off with.
This is true. But this does not mean you cannot speed up or slow down the wind, it means you cannot create gusts of it out of nowhere. You need fire to control. You need earth to control (no, you aren't able to create earthquakes out of nowhere).

Do you realize the global conditions that take place to create, and give speed to, the wind? Or, for that matter, do you even understand the immense pressures that gather on the tectonic plates before the very plates of the earth shift to create even the most minor of earth quakes?
Regardless of your wishes, your little ritual does not alter these. And if they do, then you have a great deal of good to be doing for the world. I suggest beginning with the various droughts and famines of the world.
