Who found it out? I mean, well, numerology is very old. How and when someone found out that numbers are adjustments for a person?

The western method was designed 5th century B.C.E by a greek philosopher. He had a 'P' name, can't recall it for the life of me. The Cabbalistic method is a Jewish tradition, I'm sure info could be found fairly easily.

I think it was Pythagoras, to my knowledge he still influences some aspects of mathematics. (I was always a math geek and as such numerology always interested me)
