The Legion of Light and Dark is changing its face to the rest of the site. We are working to move away from the old faces of Legion, and move on to be the Legion of the future, the Legion of today.
First, I will start out with a definition of Legion. Legion is commonly used to refer to a large group of around 300 to 600 soldiers. The legions of Christian hell will stick quite well within your minds, I'm sure. According to sources quoted at the bottom of the page, Legion is linked to legere, which is Latin for "to choose", "to gather", and "to read".
We gather together to learn, to further our own knowledge, to further the knowledge of others. We make ourselves into something greater than we would be as individuals. We grab hold of the truth, even if it is only personal truth. We reach for the skies, seeking to better ourselves and others.
We are a family, we are a coven. We are powerful, we are strong. We reach for the masks we've given ourselves and the world has given us, and we pull them off. This is not a small process, it is one we take a lifetime to do, a lifetime to make it so.
We are a coven that strives for balance between the right and the left, the light and the dark. We stride the scales, placing ourselves on neither side, but in the middle. And we deny a simplistic view of right and wrong, of light and dark, of good and evil. We give into what we really are, no matter what others think of us, whether that be right or wrong, good or evil to those around us.
We are who we are, we are who we strive to be, we are who we will be. We are Legion.

For all applying to the coven, You must send in your application in a mail to BrokenMirror and Quis_Sum. Those who apply to the coven must have both a picture and a (short) biography on them. Those who do not have one of these will not be accepted into the coven. Some exceptions may apply if the applicant informs us of an issue regarding their profile.

The new leaders of Legion are KariaXchan and Animerox360. All love and support goes to them. This occurred after me thinking long and hard about the condition of the coven, and who would be best for the position.
