We've already established that, YES people disagree. I know a few psy vamps, so lets establish this. If you met a child- lets say 8 years old- like this would you say what is listed directly to sed child? Would you call that child a monster? I know Gale480 personally, and she would never in any term hurt someone. As a person I clearly say How dare you. Would your god want you to ostrasize someone different? No. Would you like being called evil? No. You are no worse than these 'monsters'. You cannot judge in black and white. Its painful to be hated, I've seen people commit suicide just because people were closed minded and they felt isolated. This behavior is no different. Stop complaining of this or that. I'm admitting yes there is bad, but there is also good. Remember that the hurt you deal because of your hatred is your own fault.
Just for the record, I never called anyone evil. But I have dealt with one of these people and she nearly tore apart my family and got us evicted from our home. She conned my dad out of thousands of dollars, neglected her dog, refused to take care of herself but then always needed someone to take care of her. Besides just generally draining us all emotionally and physically. So no I have no sympathy for that person or others like her.
You shouldnt post a subject you almost know nothing about especially if you get your information from wiki. You claim you know what it feels like to be a physic vampire and you know thats not true.
Physic vampires are nowhere near the worst enemies for magicians. Infact they can learn alot from them and even benefit. Anyone can become a physic vampire, people drain energy from each other all the time withought knowing it. I belieave they do more good than harm. Its not like you can drain someone dry energy always replenishes. Sometimes people are going through certain planets and have alot of energy maybe too much energy. We all know to much of anything can kill you so when someone goes on a blind rage physic vampires can drain them and calm the down.
Its not hard for you to stop physic vampirism, all you have to do is control your emotions, and or spin your chakras maybe put up a psi shield or whatever.

There was a lot of negative energy attached to my original post, and it received a lot of negative energy in return. I suppose that's to be expected.
Of course it's ignorant to place prejudice on people just because of a few bad apples. I suppose I could have highlighted the acceptance side of it a little more than just "you can still love them" which was part of my post. Sorry.
Some of the posts make me FEEL like you are saying: "It's OK what these psych vampires did to you. You're feelings are not valid. By being aware and learning proper defense, that makes you closed minded and wrong." Which is pretty much how these psych vampires tried to make me feel. They screwed me over, but I'm the monster for not being cool with it and getting away from them. This is a part of the drama triangle that LillyMoon mentioned. They practically bled me dry and then shifted themselves to the "Victim" side and put me on the "Persecutor" side because I finally had enough of it. Maybe I pushed this conversation in that direction by being so harsh to begin with. I'm willing to admit that my emotions were strong and maybe some of you felt it was unfair. I'm sorry. You weren't the ones who hurt me.
It's still important for me to have these discussions. I'm only trying to heal. Understanding will help, and this forum has been very helpful. I'm learning more, and that will help me in my journey through life. I'm not going to get myself in that kind of situation ever again.

its okay gypsy we will still show love even if we disagree with you. You can use it to lift your spirits and give you energy and influence to expand your mind. There are tactics to quickly counter drain physic vamps and get some energy back ever heard of reverse physcology?
If you think you are a psychic vampire, consider this:
Instead of feeding off of someones direct energy, try using the energy of the feeling of gratefulness, that this person/thing even exists. Honor the fact that they too are connected to the divine, the fact that if one didn't exist, it is likely that the other wouldn't either. Use the love that you two create in that sense to empower you.. that's what I (can, but hardly ever) do. Be well
Gypsy, it seems that you were very hurt by someone who was very close to your dad. That can put offspring in an unbearable situation in so many ways. I can see why you lashed out.
Feel free to mail me if you'd like to discuss your situation, I have some experience and understanding. There are people in my life I would happily tar with a label of most hideous definition because of how much they have hurt someone I love (as well as myself), and go on a rampage towards everyone who shared that label. I'm sure we've all done it. :)
