i looked it up it is from this web site ouija board binding and destruction. I hope that helps. I will not use them due to the potential of opening a portal and not closing it properly.
Blessings and providence:

Thank you very much for your insight on this topic. :)

Just wanted to make an update. Yesterday, after reading one very helpful post, I decided that if it hadnt hurt me yet, there is no reason it might now. So I'm keeping an open mind and trying not to get freaked out about it. I think I might try speaking with it again through a pendulum and saskiing it what it wants and if it could kindly leave. If that doesnt work, I'm not sure what I'll do. Thanks for everyones help on this issue.

Blesses be :)

I had a friend who went through something similar after using a oiji board in a seance. Her case was a bit more extreme, to be honest, and she was rather scared. She contacted some folks she knew that helped her out (The guys from TAPS on Ghosthunters, believe it or not) and they advised her to burn the board.

As suggested above, the board's destruction closed the gate and all of the problems she was encountering ended.

Ouija boards aren't much more dangerous than anything else. An individual might similarly open a gate on their own unintentionally, but when working with such a tool (particularly as a toy) the chances of doing such a thing just increase. It's important to end the usage of the Ouija board in a manner that does not leave things open ended.

Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!

Sorry...I couldn't help myself. That's pretty cool that the Ghosthunters helped her out. I've never watched the show, I don't watch tv often unless its my daughter's cartoons or an occasional movie. But from their advice, it seems like they know what they're doing. I'll have to look them up now. You've peaked my curiousity.

Their show is more just EVP sessions, thermal cameras, etc. They don't do much with that sort of advice, though if they visit someone who is frightened they offer a bit to help them find peace.

I respect paranormal investigators and parapsychology. It's sad that it is considered a joke field. But I admire their moxie. Despite how much they're looked down upon, they keep going.

I'm sure they receive a lot of letters and calls from people who play with ouiji boards or dabble ignorantly in advanced magick. What is interesting is the study that attempted and succeeded to create a spirit. They proved what we consider thoughtforms.

I'm certain there is interesting evidence around such practice.

I went through a more elaborate ritual to create something more than a thoughtform at one point (servitor creation), and as I gathered energy and the ritual reached its apex, all of the pets in the house got quiet and wandered over to where I was. At the moment where the servitor was created, they tucked their tails between their legs and fled... silently.

Very interesting indeed.

But... I digress. I've deviated far enough from the original topic.

A house cleansing/blessing and proper destruction of the board should be enough. If that does not help, I would suggest a home exorcism. Many people have issues with using Ouija boards. When working with something like this, always expect the unexpected so your prepared :)

awaketoolong: I'm hoping the way I left things wasnt too open ended! thanks for your help :)

madangel: Thank you for the advice. I think I know no that I have to start being a bit more careful. :)

Actually, I've decided upon a number of things. One, I'm going to use a pendulum to speak to this thing in my room. To see what it wants, if it means harm, and if I could maybe be a bit more comfortable with it around. Two, I've decided to call this friend and and go over the session we had with this spirit. If, maybe, we did something wrong which angered the spirit or caused another one to come through and stay at the same time. For know, I reckon it's the best I can do.

Thanks for everyone's help!
