I joined to say I was BORN a witch, as was my mother, my grandmother, her mother and down the line. We also follow and believe in Jesus. He was God,Creator, the Source or whatever you call him come to this planet to reconcile himself to us. We should all know by now that the bible was God inspired but men put it together for their own reasons. I am offended these days when I see people who claim to want to coexist telling me what I can and cannot be. Sounds like organized religion to me.

I agree with being a christian witch. All my life, i have been drawn to magic. But, living in the bible belt, i felt guilt and often got rid of my tarot cards and spell books to sit in the pew at church. I have decreed and declared myself to jesus. He is my god. So when i create a spell, he is who i ask for protection. I do not summon demons or other gods. I use my bible for divination.

Whoops, sorry, not true! I practice both Christianity and spell-working. You can feel free to label me, if it makes you feel better. But it's not my truth. You absolutely CAN have an awesome relationship with the Mother Goddess, the Father God, Jesus and the Archangels, and our Mother Earth. I do it well every single day. Best of luck to you.

Honestly, Brysing, I thought better of you. You seemed to be more open-minded than that post. So is there no such thing as a bi-sexual or a trans-gender? It's best not to judge, if you yourself have no experience in the matter.

I thought I had made it quite clear that I made a mistake when I wrote that you cannot be a Christian Witch. I meant to write that you cannot be a Christian WICCAN! Because they are two opposing religions. Far too many members write their belief as though it is a fact.I am a witch. I practise witchcraft. I do not believe in anything supernatural. No Gods or Goddesses

Thank you all. I am starting my path as a Christian witch and this thread has been pretty helpful on other people's outlooks and understandings.

In my opinion, Bryson said he was sorry. Move on, and get over it. People make mistakes, you shouldn't always judge!

Moving on, Christian witchcraft to me, is honestly just weird. For me, it feels like your creating a "sin" against your god. The thing is, it isn't possible to be a Christian Wiccan. As many have already mentioned! Wicca is a religion that follows the old ways, taking their sources from Gerald Gardner, and older sources such as; Doreen, and Aleister(Though debate is known on this) Wicca has a belief, that all gods are one god, but they are divided into two seperate parts, or divine. A god, and a goddess. Therefore if you work with any gods, say you choose to name your goddess "Aphrodite" and work with another god of motherhood, such as "hera" or "Cerridwen" these can be seen as an aspect of the goddess. People who label each god and goddess, are labelled otherwise.

Therefore, in the bible's commandments, it says that you can not have any god before me. Therefore? it makes sense that you can not be a Christian Wiccan. For you will have another idol.

It is possible to be a witch, a witch doesn't always have to cast spells. In fact, it's more about their journey, and being able to work with nature, and respect people as a whole. Believing they themselves are not the only living beings out there. One can call them self a witch, but if they show you otherwise...is it fair to call them that?

While in my view i don't always agree with everything on this site. Religion to me, causes the most wars, and problems in this world. Along with Greed, and money. So in my opinion, no one has any right to tell you, what you can practice, and what you can't! What may be "right" for one person, another can be "wrong". Everyone is an individual, and is entitled to have their own beliefs.

Therefore since this post was a long time ago, i will just say one thing for those who choose to comment still. Know that your view is right, but wrong at the same time. I mean this in the best way possible. One view for you can make you believe, that it is a correct way, but to another person to be put down due to your belief, that is wrong. Therefore your view is just that, yours! Secondly, realize that there is always gonna be debate, and criticism on this site. Also in life too! It isn't easy, but try to find the lesson in everything. There is always one, you just have to find it. Lastly, think before you speak, and type. Think about your actions. How would you feel if you got put down due to your opinion? It wouldn't feel good, would it? So think before you lash out to others. Be kind, it will help!

Brysing, thank you so much for the clarification! That makes more sense to me. I really appreciate you taking the time out to do that.
