Dragon Dream

The dream starts with me leading a coven that is small, through ritual. I'm the actual priestess and am going through the actions.
At the height of the ritual a large black dragon comes swooping in. Then I notice I'm no longer the priestess, but I'm sitting on the roof of my home. The dragon lands and looks at me with these really dark green emerald eyes, and lets it tail fall and wrap around the house.the next thing I know I AM the dragon, and there are some negative entities around the boundaries of the my home. as they move forward, the tail unravels and swats them away.

The more I focus on what is happening, I notice that they are actually being purified, and are being released to the universe.
I''m not one who works with dragons, but to me it feels like the dragon symbol is one of a protector and purifier. I have many totems, so it's possible that it could be a totem passing on a message, but due to the lack of connection with dragons, it's really hard for me to feel comfortable putting it under such label.

This is a re-occuring dream.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

the first part of this dream denotes experience, leadership and intimacy. since the coven is small, you know the members well and as their priestess you lead them well. at first the dragon really symbolizes the need to apply your leader ship in other places beyond the group that you know well. but as the dragon protects your home he is also protecting you from strife with in it, however, rather than neutralizing the troubles that are trying to get to you dragon is teaching you that you need to change them into useful productive parts of your life.

as a dream symbol dragons are typically symbolic of power, good fortune, change, transformation, protection, and potency.

on the note of dragon possibly being your totem, you should look into the other lessons that dragon teaches, as well as pay attention to where else dragons appear to you outside of your dream

Dreams interest me alot I think my interpretation may be a bit different from the other reply, but I would say that it is only really yourself that can say for sure what it means personally to you.

For what I think the dreams means is that when the Dragon comes in and disrubs your ritual its representive of your strong will and maybe there may be areas in your life where you need try not to let your strong will or passion for things get you too carried away but if you do you will be protected and personally myself I think the dragon is a message to you to look deeper in your unconscious to find a more deeper understanding of yourself and that you may be ending one phase of your spirtiual journey and starting a new one with a lot more deeper things for you to learn from, also the fact it's a re-occuring means your not picking up on the message it's trying to related to you yet, Personally I think it's trying to get your attention and wishes to be added as one of your totems even if you already have alot of others.

To add I simply think its a message for you to work with dragons now, even if you dont feel comfortable with it right now also you will be strongly protected, the time has come for you to advanvace on to a much higher level of learning.

I hope my interpretation may have helped you with your dream a little but with dreams you should go on what you feel it means to you or what you think it is trying to tell you.
