Binding

There's someone I really can't stand and fear. I would like to bind him a little, not curse him, but am unsure will it affect me too? I didn't choose curse because I'm afraid of the Karma, but is it the same for binding spells?

if you are worried that a binding spell will backfire, you can use shielding, and program the shield to keep certain people away.

i use shielding and it works the way a binding spell would. :P
