candles and potions

I'm hopefully going to work a potion from the site... problem is im supposed to boil a cup of water with a candle... I havent had much success... anyone here have any suggestions for what to use to get enough heat from a single candle to get water boiling? any special pot or something to use for it?

Good Morning darling...Uhmmm, I haven't heard of a spell as such before, and I work with candles a lot. My suggestion, try a po-pre-ree (sorry don't know how to spell it) dish. You can get them at the dollar store, or most places. Just make sure what you would normally put the oil in is large enough to hold at least a cup of water, and have the candle flame closer to the bottem (larger candle than a tea, try a votive).
