Point-up/Point-down Penta

On the subject of pentagrams,

I was on a Satanist website and came across the following quote.

"Fools do not know what they are doing.
Energy is being sent up.
It should go into the earth to replenish her.
The overuse of the point-up pentagram
is throwing the energies into space,
causing a number of problems,
and draining the earth
of her ability to defend herself
against these problems."

If its parallel then it wouldn't go anywhere.

That being said, I don't think it is true. The energy of a pentagram can be said to be "contained" through the circle around it.

The significance of the point of the pentacle being up or down is one of basic philosophy. The point(which is the representative spirit or akasa ray of the five pointed star) facing up is symbolic of the spirit over matter, and when it faces downward is is symbolic of the physical elements over the spirit. The Pentagram is one of the oldest symbols known to Mankind. All astronomers from ancient to modern know the Pentagram. It is the path of the planet Venus.As the planet orbits through the sky (space!) it forms a perfect Pentagram every eight years. Yes,indeed,Cazzer! Venus is not only of interest to astronomers but also to astrologers. Venus, as planet, has influence; not so much as the moon, because it is much further away from us. I have been asked quite a few times how the moon (for instance) has influence on us here on Earth. To answer that question one has to accept the scientific fact of the moon's influence on the sea. Tides.
Influence the oceans, then surely an influence on large bodies of water, lakes? Admittedly to a lesser extent. And smaller lakes?
And pools? So the question then asked is "How can it have influence on humans?"
