well i guess i am not done with posting lessons

The Chinese idea of Anxiety and Depression is very different from ours. Chinese physicians always consider that there is a clear cause for these states of mind, which maybe treated internally, or making some change in the patient's environment. The problem maybe located in a person's food, work, housing, or emotional life, and it is always possible to do something for the sufferer.

Tradtional wisdom about benefits of the soft arts for these kinds of problems has recently been endorsed by extensive clinical research in both China and the United States. In general it has been found T'ai Chi Chuan is very helpful in the treatment of anxiety and depression, and for insomnia too. Mainly due to the way it concentrates and calms the mind.

As Chinese physicians associated emotional states with specific organs in the body, emotional diagonosed and treated through the respective organs.

Thus, for example,

States of fear and paranoia relate to kidneys.

States of resentment, hopelessness, and frustration related to the liver.

States of Feeling of lovelessness to the heart.

States of Worry, and insecurity to the spleen.

States of sense of loss or failure relates to the lungs.
