Here are some uses for dirt in spells and rituals:
Graveyard dirt: kind of obvious....can be very potent, know what you are doing before using it.
Dirt from a hospital: spells to harm
Dirt from a doctors office: healing
Dirt from a soldiers grave: protection, domination or courage
Dirt from a library: knowledge, wisdom
Dirt from a jail: either to release or keep someone incarcerated
Dirt from a courthouse: victory in court cases
Dirt from a race track: luck in gambling
Dirt from where 2 dogs have fought: spells dealing with conflict
Oh I'm glad you posted this one Lizzie! Is this from our favoirite book by Dorothy Morrison..hmmmm. Lol and I'm glad you added Grave yard dirt, because it does have it advantages too, like for hexes, curses, as well as love too. BE AWARE THAT USING GRAVE YARD DIRT FOR ANY OF THE PURPOSES I TALKED ABOUT IS VERY SERIOUS! I think if your squeamish like me, it would probably be a good idea to order "Goofer Dust", instead of entering a grave yard.

Here's another way to make goofer dust, actually any of the "hot" pepper seeds crushed will do.
*graveyard dirt
*sulfer powder
*jalapeno pepper (crushed into a powder)
*black pepper seeds (crushed into a powder)
*sea salt (crushed into a powder-also can be made into "black
salt", which i am told is called witches salt)
*shed rattlesnake skin (crushed into a powder
**no set amount of each ingredient, use as much or as little as you feel necessary

by the way, the sulfer powder, you can use the heads of matches and crush them into a powder
One can also pick up pure (stinky) sulphur powder on the internet and on eBay for very inexpensively. I find it is more potent that using the match tips, but when can't wait for the mail...use what you have.
