There are such things as Christian faith healers... but Christian "magic" is pure theurgy-- every magical act must be channeled through God and never from yourself.

So, you must have NO abilities or powers-- they all belong to Him, He's only letting you have them because He likes you, and He can take them away any time.
And you have to be humble about it, never bragging or even feeling like bragging, and follow His rules and commands on how and when to channel Him.

... think you can manage that? ;-P

you will not lose you powers (if you convert to xinity) but any kind of magick is forbidden by xianity
the reason for that is that when Yeshuah (Jesus) formed xinity he took Judaism as a basis
and since witchcraft involves paganism and Judaism STRONGLY forbiddes worship of other gods and even forbidds sympathy for pagans it is resulted in xianity forbidding any sort of magick

A bit contradictory there, gorgoroth... you say the powers are hers, but then that the same powers must involve paganism and worship. If they must involve worship of anyone, then they don't come from her do they?

And when he [Jesus] had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease... Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
-- Matthew 10:1; 10:8

There's a fine line between magic and prayer, lumping all Paganism in one corner against Monotheism is a bit of a double standard... =S

I would recommend never becoming apart of any religion that holds strict rules and dogma against things, and promotes the idea of an all-powerful creator.

Agree! Especially if individualism and personal power still matter so much to you... then that would just be hypocrisy. =/

Agreed. Monotheism in particular is one of the most absurd suggestion for the origin of life I have ever heard.
