Wands

A wand is a way of channelling energy, much like an athame.

When circle casting or channelling energy during spells and rituals you can use a wand, sometimes people use a material with its own properties to help "boost" the energy but in reality anything you would need a wand for, you can use your finger for.

As you learn you will begin to learn what would "need" to channel energy for, with a finger, athame or wand. Although a wand is never truly necessary, many people may find themselves making or buying one at some point during their practice as an alternative they can use.
