Beginning of Work Week


As my days grow long and my hands coarse
I ask Thor to grant me strength
To carry myself through this week
Until I can be with friends
So Red friend of the laborer
I will dedicate this week to you.

A Prayer for the Morning

As I wake this morning
I thank Sol for his return to our sky
I thank Thor for his protection
I thank Heimdall for his vigilance
I thank Freyr for this fertile land
I thank Frigga for the love in my heart
I thank the Allfather for his wisdom and guidance
I thank my ancestors for allowing me to be here
But most of all
I thank fate for granting me one more day in Midgard.
Hail the Aesir!
Hail the Vanir!
Hail my kin!
Hail the Norns and hail destiny!
