Belief!

Why is it that if someone tells you that there are 1 billion stars in the universe you will believe them,
but if they tell you a wall has wet paint you will have to touch it to be sure?

I believe that there are far more stars than juts a billion. And as for the wet paint, I would either not touch it just in case or pick up some random object next to me and use that to touch the wall to find out.

I would leave the paint and stars alone, and still believe that the possibilities are there...because if I touch the paint to late might already be dry, so I have to leave the possibilities that it was wet once, same with the billion stars, the possibilities is that there were, are and will be those amount of stars in the spot shown...

i'd probly accedently fall on it walking away(the wet paint)
