The "Thy Self" spread I think is based off the Kabbalistic tree of Life -- if so, Drive and spheres of responsibility is the sphere of Chokhmah, "intelligence" or "pure potential."

The knight of cups (soldier of watery things-- emotions, relationships, and the occult,) reversed (opposite) in this position can mean that wearing your heart on your sleeve at this time would more likely just get you hurt, or mysticism is interfering with your achievement, or the other extreme that you might be feeling too cynical to try new and creative things that would have been good to try... or that you don't want to reach out to people.
