Maantrik's?

Just a quick question. Has anyone ever encountered a "maantrik"?

I put speech marks around it because I'm not entirely sure if there are other spiritual names for it.


I have no information on "maantrik's" I just heard about them, and was quite interested in learning more.

Apparently they're an elite class of ghosts?

Do they even exist?

yes they do, what have you heard?, basically, when the body dies the soul has a few options.

usually souls with minimal karma and minimal learning are pretty much shoved into a new form the cycle can only be broken with learning and growing as a soul

if they have worked on their soul, they can pass into the underworld, where they weigh their own lives (all of them judging for themselves their karma or sins and before moving on are judged by death itself. they then can move to heaven or hell.
(obviously serial killers might think they deserve to go to heaven, but they wont.)

sometimes they are not ready to leave the plane of the living and they get "stuck here" these are your typical lost souls or ghosts

then you get souls who have learned enough and are offered heaven, they are ready to move on, but they still want to learn more before they pass, without losing all memories a rebirth, they can go to a very special place (similar to astral but on a much higher plane) there they have access to full universal conciousness, and can come and go betwen planes to test their knowledge (these come across as spirit guides but understand they are so much more.)

lastly you have great souls, born (of the gods) with purpose to make specific things happen at very specific times in order to prevent either good or bad from having more influence than the other. these souls only live one life, and early in their lives are approached by their higherself/archetype and charged with a quest. if their task is completed within one life, they are awarded majik in the sence of old majiks (think merlin) and if they dont, then they are stripped of everything (even soul energy) and left to haunt the world as ghosts. but they cant do anything so they go around spreading lies and getting people to turn away from spiritual growth.
