faeries

I would like to know something about faeries...can you please post what you know about them?
Like what kind of faeries exist, what they like, how do you get them, how can you work with them, what to give them in return, how they like to live, and so on...

I understand them as spirits of the air. They're not always small, actually they can be shapeshifters which makes them very difficult to scan.

Being of air, they seem to like airy things like music and the arts. Sponge cake is a traditional offering because (I think) it's mostly air and the energy is friendly, while the energy of iron is reputedly bad to them because these free spirits don't like to be grounded.
People who've worked with other entities that we'd call fairies (spirits of the living earth instead of the air, for example,) might have a different experience with this.

I was told it's possible to broker a deal with them... say, three wishes paid with the quickness of your thought, your ability to laugh, and a precious memory. But too much direct contact with them seems to make a person become really random-- staring into space sometimes (without the look of a meditator or even a daydreamer, just a stare) picking fights and then dropping them.

Though my source has never said that their bit of the astral has a lot of time distortion, we probably shouldn't assume there is never any...
