A few weeks ago I had gone to my local occult store to buy more stones, of course. The woman that helped me pick out the ones that I required, also sent me on my way with a sheet of what stones are used for. I don't know where she had gotten the information, but I'm going to give her all the credit for this, because I am just sharing. I'll also put a little more information on what I know about certain stones. There are literally hundreds of stones out there, and I'm not going to list every single one of them.
Agate (comes in many colors)- Promotes happiness, good manners, intelligence, good health, curative powers, strength and courage.
Alexandrite- Manifestation stone, stumulates dreams and imagery, natural stones are very rare.
Amazonite- Enoucrages faith and hope, regulates thinking facilities.
Amber- Lifts the spirits, absorbs pain and negative energies. Heals and cleanses the chakras.
Amethyst- Headahces, alsoholism, overindulgence, grief, protection, meditation, and wisdom. Also helps open up the third eye.
Ametrine- Astral travel, connects the physical realm with higher consciousness.
Angelite- Contact with the angelic realm, peace and brotherhood.
Aquamarine- Stone of courage, calms nerves, aids in marine travel, eyesight, reduces fluid retention
Apache Tears- Comforts grief, promotes forgiveness and relieves long-held grievances
Apatite- Improves ability to communicate,aid in viewing past lives
Apoplhylite- Third eyes tone, releases mental blocks, assists in Reiki healing
Aragonite- Earth-healier, and hrounding stone, transforms geopathic stress
