Cleansing your own negative energy:
Sit cross legged and point directly to west and east with your arms wide open. Then imagine a ball of positive energy gathering together in your hands. Hold the balls with your palms facing the sky. Start breathing deep and concentrating. Imagine all of your negative energy flowing around you like a red stream. Imagine the red stream divided into two and each one soaking into one of the balls and disappearing. Then imagine the white stream of the balls going inside your heart.

Cleansing someone elses negative energy:
Tell the person to sit cross legged and concentrate on freeing the negative energy in the atmosphere around His/Her head. Kneel before him/her and hold your hand upon his/her head. Create a ball of energy in the palm of your hand while holding your hand above his/her head, tell him /her to release the energy and make it soak into your hand. After that gather your fist and destroy the ball.

Meditate and visualize your aura, all the good and bad energies like a living blanket of energy. Then visualize a small white ball radiating from your breastbone, inside the aura.While taking deep and rhythmic breaths, make the ball expand.

As it expands and comes into contact with your aura, you will feel a mild tingling sensation. This is the pure energy acting to "burn off" the negativity and negative emotions attached to your aura.Continue to expand the ball until it completely encompasses you. You may hear a ringing in your ears, or a sizzling/static-like noise. That's ok.

Hold this image in your mind until you feel certain the negative energy has been diffused.Take a deep breath and hold it while you visualize that white light becoming like fog, dissipating around you, falling harmlessly away.What remains should be your normal, at-rest aura.You may want to do this several times the first week, then maybe once a month (or more during periods of stress) thereafter.

To ensure safety before taking a long trip, get out a map of the area through which you are going to be traveling. Cast a circle, and then, using a green pen, trace the route you're going to take.

After you have done so, take a piece of white chalk and lightly color over the entire itinerary with a thin layer, visualizing the white chalk as a glowing light of protection along the route and say:"Guard and Guide our trip, and all who venture on this road. See us safely to our destination, see us safely home. Blessed be."Visualize your self arriving safely. Fold the map, with the crystals inside, and tie it with a white ribbon. Keep it in your alter or in a safe place until you return.

Before traveling, walk clockwise around your car, repeating the incantation:As I travel near and far,I call on spirit to protect this car.As I travel far and near,Bring me safely right back here.On the front and back of the car, draw the protection rune (Algiz) with your finger

Repeat the chant below when you are stuck in a traffic jam.

"Gods of Movement and of flow,
ease this mess that causes woe.
Move these cars along their way
And keep traffic moving through the day. "

To see spirits, old European grimoires recommend mixing together aloe, pepper, musk, Vervain, and saffron and burning this in a cemetery. You can adapt this for other locations (like those in which the spirit lived) by adding a bit of sweet grass or tobacco to a specially prepared incense.

Create the incense on the anniversary of the death of the individual you wish to contact. This is then burned at 11 am, in the safety of a magic circle that also holds symbolic items to connect you to the entity.

An incantation to encourage the spirit's presence is "Guardians of the Spirit realm, hear and guide my plea.When the witching hour rings true, bring my friend (loved one, etc.) ____ to me. Other souls who hear my call are not welcome in this place. Only the one known as _____ may enter sacred space."

Repeat the request three times, twenty minutes apart, then wait quietly for indications of a presence. Signs include the scent of flowers or a favored cologne, a cool wind, movement of curtains, and candles going out or twitching erratically.Once you feel sure the spirit is with you, do not make it tarry overly long. Take care of your business, say farewell, and thank the guardians for their assistance.

Focus on your will and chant the following:

"The presence that stands upon the stairs, the unseen hands that move the chairs, the lights that play across the wall, the stains that stay and plates that fall. The mist, the chill, the wandering scents. This gentle spell removes them hence.

Set a table neat, with cup and plate, and wine and meat. Invite the ghost to sit and feast, as any host should urge a guest. Presently, clear the meal away. Then open the door and softly say:

"Quick or dead, thou art fed. Cease to grieve and take thy leave"

Start by rubbing your hands together for about a half to a full minute. Then imagine a white light inside your chest. Now imagine that white light flowing from you chest through your arms and out of your hands.

You should be feeling a tingling sensation or an extreme heat coming out of your hands.
This is Magick, in its simpilist form.

Now, if you want to use your true or inner Magick, then find something that makes you feel calm, then do or listen to that "thing" that makes you feel calm, while you are channeling your Magick.

First find objects that you feel connected with, then place those objects around you, (about two feet from you), in a circle that surrounds you. Then open a path for you to walk through and get your representations of the four elements; Fire, Water, Earth, Air, (Or if you believe in the Celtic religion then use; Land, Sky, Sea, as your representations). Place the elements in their respectful places inside your circle. Then close the circle.

Next thing to do is to take out your Wand, Anthem, or your hand, and charge your circle with Magick. Finally you can preform your ritual or spell.
