Alright due to the constant encouragement of various people I?ve volunteered to do this lesson. Now if you don?t know the druids are a very tree based group of magical practioners they hold nature on a very high pedestal as do most nature based religions. And as a result of this high respect for it we vitalize the various aspects of nature in our magick. Today I?m going to talk about tree magick a aspect of druid magick I like to pride myself in but that?s neither here nor there lol. Alright first off I would like just to give a list of the magical properties (or magickal uses I guess you could say) of trees then segway into the druidic sacred trees.


Acacia-> symbolizes purity, air and used in most psychic workings and also used for protection

Alder-> represents resurrection rebirth and the element fire

Almond-> Divination clairvoyance wisdom money loans and business

Apple-> healing prosperity peace love happiness and perpetual youth and is associated with water

Apricot-> love

Ash-> traditionally used for the yule log, used in healing protection and sea magick

Aspen-> used for phyllomany (divination by leaf rustling) and for protection

Birch-> used for protection fertility purifications and blessings

Cedar-> Used for purification and longevity

Coconut-> Healing

Cypress-> Mostly used for maypoles healing and sometimes used in past life workings

Elder-> often used in the making of wands and used for healing love prosperity and protection

Elm-> Used for protection

Eucalyptus-> used for healing

Fig-> Used for fertility strength energy and health.

Fir->Prosperity

Hawthorn-> Its element is water, used for cleansing love and protection

Hazel-> Another wood often used in wands, often used for fertility divination and protection

Holly-> used for protection

Juniper-> used for protection

Lemon-> divination and healing

Linden-> used for divination and protection

Maple-> love and divination

Mulberry-> used for divination

Oak-> healing strength prosperity and longevity

Olive->fertility protection

Orange->love

Palm-> used for fertility and strength

Pine-> purification, health, fortune, fertility, and prosperity

Rowan-> used for healing protection and strength

Willow-> used in moon magick healing wishes protection

Now this isn?t the finished lesson but I will try to have the second part (druid sacred trees) in a few days but I hope you enjoy the first half.
