how do you know if this works

They will feel cold. Your hands should also feel cold. If you wish to try this, it is an energy technique. Feel energy draining from your hands. If you wish to visualize ice creeping up them, you can. The key is to ground the energy. When you touch the person, push the ''ice'' you were visualizing/feeling on your hands into the person in one large burst. They should feel a zap of cold like an icy wind.

Do not expect to freeze a person, they might feel a slight change in the temperature. I also feel this spell requires an edit.
