It doesn't work at all. Magick can't do things like teleportation.

Rhododendron is speaking the truth. We cannot teleport, through shadows or otherwise, that simply isn't possible with magick.

does raw chicken cause salmonella? how do you know if you've never eaten raw chicken? we don't need to cast every single spell ever to know which ones work and which don't. If you know how magick works, you can narrow down which spells absolutely do not work, and the ones with the potential to work. humans are physical beings, they cannot naturally teleport, this spell won't work. you can astral project, or travel somewhere through a guided meditation, but physically you will not teleport. magick is nothing like the movies, it is a natural energy that only affects energy to bring a desired natural change. belief is a powerful key, but it does not trump reality, and the reality of magick is, it does not contradict nature.
