Casting Instructions for 'Psalm 4 Spell'

Psalm 4

  • If you have been unlucky hitherto, in spite of every effort, then you should pray this Psalm three times before the rising of the Sun, with humility and devotion, while at the same time you should impress upon your mind its ruling holy name, and each time the appropriate prayer, trusting in the help of the mighty Lord, without whose will not the least creature can perish.

  • Proceed in peace to execute your contemplated undertaking, and all things will result to your entire satisfaction.

  • The holy name is called:  Jiheje, (He is and will be,)

The prayer is as follows:

  • May it please Thee, oh, Jiheje, to prosper my ways, steps and doings.

  • Grant that my desire may be amply fulfilled, and let my wishes be satisfied even this day, for the sake of Thy great, mighty and praiseworthy name. Amen! — Selah!

If you wish to accomplish an undertaking by or through another, proceed in all things as already stated above, with this exception: you must change the prayer as follows: Let me find grace, favor and mercy in the eyes of N., son of R., so that he may grant my petition, etc.

Again, if you have a cause to bring before high magistrates or princes, you must pray this Psalm and the closing prayer arranged for it, seven times in succession before the rising of the Sun.

In Hoodoo Psalm 4 is prayed for:

  • To assist in restful and peaceful sleep.

  • Peace and Tranquility

  • Removing Obstacles and Changing One's Luck

Psalm 4

1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

[8] I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
