I use this spell any time I feel that there is a lot of negativity around my home that is distupting our harmony. It works.

Casting Instructions for 'Salt Protection Spell'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • A Black Candle
  • Sea Salt. (NOT table salt)
  • Incense (Dragons Blood if you have it)

Sprinkle a fine line of sea salt on every window sill and door frame of your house…on the outside. If this is too difficult, you may just do it inside, BUT be mindful of why the salt is there and leave it to do its work. Sea Salt purifies, and is good for repelling negative forces of all kinds.

While sprinkling the salt, say your petitions for protection or even something simple like:
Sacred Salt protect this house,
Protect all those who dwell here,
Negative forces may NOT come inside.

When you’re finished with the salt, light the incense and candle, then sprinkle a circle of sea salt around the candle and say your petitions for protection, or:
Sacred Candle,
Sacred Flame,
Protect this household
in _____________’s name.(Use the name of your preferred Holy Deity.)

Keep chanting over and over until you're satisfied that you’ve made a “connection”. When you’re finished, snuff out the candle (with your fingers) and say:
This is my will, so mote it be!


Note: One should NEVER blow out a candle. One should use a snuffer, moist fingertips, or simply allow the candle to burn out. Blowing out a candle scatters the Fire and Air energies that you’ve worked so hard to focus together. It instantly unravels all the work you’ve just done.
