This is one simple way to summon a faery to a vessel of your choice.

First, know that some faeries prefer different vessels. Air faeries like jars. Fire faeries like lamps or candle bottles. Water faeries like water bottles. Earth faeries like clay pots. Start by having the vessel ready and clean for the faery you intend to catch.  Put the sponge cake into the container as an offering.

Before the faery comes, make sure you have a suitable job for them. Some faeries are good at different things. Earth faeries, for example, are better at helping plant a garden while water faeries are good for bringing rain and helping water things. Fire faeries are good for helping to warm things up and air faeries are good for calm days.
