First find an empty and quiet place,where you should meditate for a few minutes.Make sure that you are performing the spell on a new moon.Boil some water and place the herb inside.Stir it with your wand,and then let it site for 15 minutes.Then go and light the black and white candles.Now focus on all of your energy and imagine the white candles light growing larger and larger,enfolding you in peace.Also imagine the black light growing smaller and weaker.Now put the black candle in the boiling water,extinguishing the light.The white candles light should still be around you.When you have gotten rid of the black light,you may not be able to see the white shield,but it is still there,and you will be protected from harm.
Requires an edit, but the key parts are there. Choose cleansing and protective herbs to go into the simmer pot. Use blessed water for added energy. I would use a spoon instead of your wand to stir it.
