Well...

I WOULD have this problem if I carried candles and pens around all day long. =P

But I don't. I don't take spellbooks from the internet or anywhere else (except a library, free stuff! xD) I don't believe that people wouldn't notice that somebody has made a spellbook. It's all rubbish.

Plus, alot of people lie. =P They just want some money.

I don't search for a full moon, waning moon, a crescent of any sort, a new moon, anything. I do spells at anytime and anywhere (as long as nobody's there with me, except my 2 witch friends =P).

I think you should ask your parents why they don't want you doing this. They could have a good reason, such as, "Your (relative here) practiced magick and was killed by it," or a bad reason such as, "You're going to become crazy doing all of this!"

Ask and solve. It'll be a good thing.

Its parents have fear therefore in the Christianity normally say that magic is thing of the demon and thus they think that you go to be possessed for it if to practise magic. He tries to show for them that you do not want to use magic for badly, shows the texts that are reading and speak for them that you are only entering in harmony with the nature and its interior I. E if they still thus to continue forbidding, try to practise without them to see but it does not lie, senão they go to say that it is for cause that you are practising demonic arts. You will see that with the time they will go to enteder its choice. But this does not try to compel them it, makes to the few and goes to obtain what it wants.

There are many ways and methods of keeping your interests secret.

One of the methods I would suggest is this:

Have a book or notepad you can write things in that you can hide.

Wait until you are alone or you know you will not be bothered and search for information on small spells to start with and candle magics.

You also want to start with information on basic meditations, as well as basic energy manipulation.

Write as much down as you can, even if you know you will not be ready for some of it for a long time.

This way you can maximise your information intake, and minimise your time online looking it up.

Spend some time outside each day, feeling the energies around you inherent in all that is.

your parents would probally be happy you are outside, and you can be happy studying how energies effect you through the world.

Energy manipulation is a very good place to start with, as it familiarises you with the energies inside you, and allows you to expand your senses.

Then you can explore other energies and decide what path you Truly wish to walk.

You might end up loving psi so much you decide to work on telepathy or telekinisis (psychokinisis now) instead of what is considered "magic(k)."

You might find you love the natural energies of the outdoors the most, and become an elementalist.. manipulating the 4 elements for your spells.

You could also end up being drawn to Reikki, Necromancy, High magic, Summoning, White or Black magic.

Or your original green idea.

The important thing is to learn to meditate and expand your senses to notice the world around you and how energies interact.

When you can do that, you can truly decide your path.

Besides, 30 min of meditation a day is the minimum.. and with winter on the horizon and snow days eminent.. 30 min at night before sleep or during the day isnt so bad.

If your the kind to sleep during the day, take a 30 min meditation break first.

Meditation is the best way to start (lotus position Not necessary).

If you keep the notebook hidden and online time minimal for magic, then there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to practice and keep hidden.

I can completely simpathize with you. Im 21 and my mom still freaks out when I say magic. Im psychic and my mother is too, when I told her I saw spirits she tried to put me on meds then recently told me to ignore them and tell them to leave like she did. I have been breaking her into it little by little. People fear what they dont know, she heard that magic is evil and dangerous. I explained to her what everything was and the pentagram was not the sign of the devil. I learned as much as I could so I could educate her about it. Try to do this to the parent that will listen most. If you tell them what you know calmly they might understand and tolerate it as my mother does. They might not ever accept it, but it will get them to open their eyes a little bit more. I hope this helped even a tiny bit. Good luck
