Golden eyes wolf

I'm curious to know what seeing a large wolf means in dreams? I've seen it twice before it howled to me and showed itself as a large dire wolf. I know this breed is extant with rumours circling around suggesting that it might be trying to spurt up again. Any ideas on what it means the wolf also had golden eyes.
