As a sufferer who had to sweat geometry though, might I point out that a 360-degree turn leaves one facing in the same direction that he started. To rotate from North to South, for instance, is but a 180-degree turn.(Magick is precise, else it is swiftly madness).

Yes, I stand to be corrected. Geometrically speaking you are correct, however when you turn 180 degrees, you only get to enjoy half the view and experience,turn a full 360, then you get to enjoy the full view and experience, and that's where the magick kicks in, North East South, don't stop there, explore the West, and head back to North with the full understanding and experience, and then carry out your task that chose you, geometry is precise,so to must be your understanding, no half measures under any circumstances.

I am a fan of spirals myself. While any journey will eventually come full circle, by the end your knowledge and experience will inevitably have expanded. And so you may begin again, but you begin with more than you had before.
