My curiosity about spell casting if it’s possible to do during the daytime. I’m unable to cast spells at night due to my job. Is this feasible or is night time the only option?

Time of day is only one facet/influence to magic and magic working. There are many ways someone can build up influences. Utilizing favorable days of the week, favorable moon-phase periods (just because you can't see it doesn't mean the moon has no influence), different symbols and their influences/correspondences, or even times of year.

There isn't some cosmic switch that shuts off magic once the sun hits the horizon wherever you live. In fact, the sun is itself another (often forgotten/neglected) important part of magic and symbolism. Sun and moon are partners in the sky throughout many practices and Faith's. Often representing masculine/feminine or father/mother dichotomies.

The entire cycle of the day has magical associations as well. Like the wheel of the year it reflects on death and birth at the transition from the old day to the new, building up or maturing towards the zenith of the day when the sub is at its highest point in the sky, then fading/aging into twilight and back to death/birth.

Here are some power-times to consider;

Sunset- transition of day into night. Associated with releasing or sending away energy. Transition from masculine/active/outward-moving to feminime/reflective/receptive/inward-moving energy. Completing or ending tasks preparation for rest, transition into stillness.

Mid-night- the nadir of the sun/when the sun is on the opposite side of the earth at its farthest away and the moon's influence is undiluted. This is the Zenith/highest point of the moon's influence as representation of the feminine. Receptivity, intellect (over action), and such have the most sway. When night would be at its darkest if the moon wasn't a factor. The death of the old day and moment of birth of the new one. (Note that the hour of midnight can be different from the time of mid-night. One is hands on a clock, the other is the sun's position in the sky)

The moon's zenith- when the moon is at its highest point in the sky. This is different from the sun's nadir as the time of the moon's zenith changes with the moon's phase. There are times where the moon's relative position has it sharing the sky with the sun. The moon's zenith would be when the associations and influences of the specific moon phases are at their strongest.

Dawn- when there is a transition of night into day. 'Waking up' of energy, stirring from stillness into action/passive into active, feminine to masculine. Where sunset is about endings dawn is about beginnings and setting things into motion.

Mid-day- The time when the sun is at its zenith, at the highest point in the sky and at its strongest influence. A 'power' time if ever there was one, this time is all about action and the fruition of effort. Energy and presence in abundance and at its highest potential of outward movement. Where mid-night transitions from death to birth mid-day transitions from build-up to decline. The strength of the day has reached its peak and is now starting the journey back down again.

So. Each period of the day has setting you can draw from and use as a part of your magic if you want to. Just bear inmind that working magic is about collecting forces towards a common goal. There are many such influences to draw from and the time of day.. or rather the positions of the sun and moon (because that is what time of day is about) is only one of them.

Also, as a final note, consider that the key thing about such periods is that they aren't switches. They are transitions. The sun doesn't -only- have power exactly at noon. That is just when it is strongest. It builds up and let's down along the whole day. Even when the sun has a whole planet between you and it, the sun is still there. And so is its influence. It is just progressively more (or less) efficient to connect with it and make use of it. As long as you can hold a strong enough concept within your mind of the presence and influence of the sun, then you could even perform a noon-time ritual in the middle of the night and have it be pretty-much just as effective. You just need to be able to wrap your head around the idea.

Ok... One more final thought. Last one, I swear!

Ponder on this; The light and energy of the stars can be seen, felt, and experienced from millions (and even billions) of kilometers/miles away. The spiritual energy we feel, utilize, and explore is spread around not only this universe, but the many vibrations/planes and incorporial realms and beings we find ourselves conceiving. Yet we can find, draw, and use that energy literally at the speed of a thought. We have the idea of this energy's presence, and there it is.

So what's the difference if we can or can't see the sun or moon in the sky? So what if it is on the other side of the planet. That distance is so inconsequential we might as well me a molecule apart.
