So I've been doing this spell(pasted below) from the strawberry moon full moon and every night scene that thinking I would do it till the solstice. I saw on one of these threads that adding blood to a spell would make it stronger. I added a drop of blood to each of the candles lighting them in the same order everynight. I'm wondering if it will work or not like I said I started on the full moon and still nothing.
Items Needed:
Two pink candles
A green candle (Nort
A yellow candle (Eas
A red candle (Sout
A blue candle (We
Position the candles at the corresponding corners. Hold the two pink candles in your hands and face the red candle (south).
Chant the following at least five times or until you feel like the magic has worked.
Beautiful Goddess, the powerful God, hear my prayer!
Lords of fire, burn my desire, times three
If it is meant to be, bring [name] back to me.
While chanting, visualize your love returning to you and feel the emotions that you will feel when he or she returns.
Blood can add energy to a spell, but you would use it to tether the spell to you. You're casting this every night from the strawberry full moon until Litha, so there's enough energy.
I'd argue you're overcasting since you've been doing this nightly for over two weeks. I'd also like to point out the moon phase is wrong. [if you don't follow the moon phases, that's fine, but a spell like this would be going against the flow of energy] You began a conjuring on the full moon to attract something toward you. The moon has been waning and won't start to wax until the new moon on the 18th. When you wish to attract energy toward you, you would cast during the waxing to full moon phase because the energy is flowing in. When you wish to remove something, you cast during the waxing phase because the energy is going away [the moon affects magickal energy similar to the tides] You don't need to follow this if it doesn't resonate with you. There are also emergencies where you can't afford to wait for the right phase to cast. But when it comes to 7-day spells [spells you repeat over multiple days to build energy] it's best to cast with the flow of energy. I'm not saying the spell won't work, I'm saying it would be easier to direct the energy when it's moving with the current than trying to fight upstream.
