Hey ya'll

To be honest, I suck at introductions, but I am willing to give it my best shot, so here goes.

I’m Emily AKA sasseepantz (I, very much so, live up to the name lol). I’m 36 years young. I reside in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love photography, my favorite season is Autumn, My favorite holiday is Samhain, my favorite color is purple (the color of royalty), My favorite flower is the star gazer lily, and my favorite vegetable is green beans. (random fun facts)

I only just recently and actively started this new-to-me spiritual journey. All my life I have had< what I like to call, a sensitivity, if you will, to literally everything. Especially people and their auras. Over the last couple of years, though, I noticed that this “sensitivity” was getting more pronounced and I was becoming more in tune with people’s intentions and sometimes even thoughts and feelings. It wasn’t until recent years (2 years to be exact), that I started researching and learning about these abilities. Earlier this year, on a journey to find my paternal family who I never knew, I did an ancestry DNA test and started building my family tree. In this, I discovered some interesting things of my ancestry. I learned that one of my ancestors was one of few men tried in the salem witch trials and found innocent of witchcraft. Upon his release from jail, he disappeared without a trace, never to be seen again. This new information got me thinking and made me broaden my research and the possibility that my “sensitivity” and this new information may be connected. Right after finding this out about my family tree, I noticed this very special cat that just appeared outside my house one day a week before my 35th birthday last july. He is a very beautiful black cat whom I now call Tarot. He just kinda hung around outside regularly. Tarot possess some questionable qualities, for example: his protective nature over anyone that I care about and myself, his glowing yellow eyes with round human-like pupils, his opposable thumbs, his ability to take human form (which I and a few others have seen with our own eyes), the fact that he has been seen literally all over town, and the fact that people who’s intentions were not pure would be fearful of him. Tarot hung around outside for SIX WHOLE MONTHS consistently before I finally gave in and let him in the house after he slept outside my door for 2 days straight during 7 degree weather last winter. With my ancestry, my new pet (mind you I don’t even like cats) that adopted me, my ever growing gift of sight, and some signs from nature (the white owls I see regularly, the frequent sight of the letter F in my waking life (representing the connection between the human and the divine in many religions), here I am on a very new to me spiritual path.

After all that, I took up teaching myself to read tarot and fire scrying. Tarot, I have found, comes naturally to me. Though I still have no idea how to control my visions or how to tune people out in crowded places. Crowded places often overwhelm me because of my lack of control over these abilities. The best way I can describe it is white noise. Crowded places often have me hearing static that only I can hear because there is so much going on in the environment at that moment. I often see spirits of the dead, as well, when they are trying to communicate (they knew I can see and sometimes hear them).

Anyways, enough about me. I am pleased to digitally meet you all, and I am open to all the advice and/or tips you have to offer a new witch, such as myself. This is definitely a learning experience for me and I know I have a lot to learn. I am ready to soak in all the things like a sponge.

Hi. I just joined this site today. Happy and looking forward to meeting new people.
A cat adopted me once as well, it's funny how they find you even if you aren't looking.
