This sounds a little fake I just want to be certain so I'm asking other people to see if it is fake?
Knot magic is a well-established methodology. There are books on the topic.
Yes, it can be fun or silly, but there are a lot of associations used, such as at least basic numerology, repetition of basic numbers, and the like. Often the rhymes (when used) can be a little forced, but the chant and the related action are used to entrain the attention to the desired end result of the working.
I will repeat as many times as necessary, a yes or no answer to questions in the occult are not the best way to learn. If I only answered your question with a no you may not understand as to why this spell is an actual spell and not farce. Knot magic has been around for thousands of years. Knots has been developed over time for specific uses and with them other aspects of song or chant. Knots are useful in securing all types of life aspects. We learn to tie at a young age and the witches' ladder is a popular aspect of folk magic. Knots are helpful in protection however they can also cause entanglement and bind things that may be harmful or unpleasant. The spell in question relies on one to hold focus on the desired outcome of the spell while chanting steps, notches, rungs, etc. I would include in the middle of the ladder or knotting, the specifics of my desired outcome in a few of the knots as this offers some protection to the working of the desire manifestation. You may want to rewrite some of the chant as putting your own energy into the spell through editing, as adaptation helps to raise the total energy involved in the magical working or practice.
If you know you are annoying people, it's probably best to stop whatever it is that annoys them. There are many well-respected and knowledgeable Members and Moderators on this Forum who will not be annoyed by Genuine attempts to Learn the Craft of Magick. If you are annoying these types of people, and if you see you are annoying them, that's Problematic, to say the Least.
Further, you should not be reposting Spells to ask if they work/are fake. The whole idea behind this in inaccurate and misinformed. Here are the reasons for that; just because a Spell works for one Caster, it may not work for another, or even any hundred others. Also, just because a Spell doesn't work for any one, or hundreds of others, doesn't mean it's fake. It just means it doesn't work for any one or hundreds of others. Finally, because of the above reasons, no one Spellcaster, no matter how highly accredited, can tell you if a Spell is, in fact, fake. (And by this I mean a Spell that appears to be Genuinely written and intended for Magickal Practice, not any of the millions of garbage Fluff Spells that promise to make you a Werewolf, Vampire, God, etc. in reality.)

I also grow weary of Stressing that anyone just Beginning in Magick should not be trying to chuck Spells without first having Learned some Foundational Elements of Magick to begin with. What does this mean? Well, Grounding is the single best place to start. Grounding allows you to both Channel and Focus the extra Energies around you to accomplish a definitive Goal. Meditation is a good next stop, for those who have issues Visualizing, plus, Meditation is a solid part of Grounding in general for allowing one to calm one's Mind and Fo9cus one's Energies. Defense/Warding is the next Logical step, as when you Cast a Spell, you can be Prone to Outside Energies that at best will only interfere with your work, at worst, they can actually cause you Harm. Next, Divination is good. It can help you get Guidance for your work and indicate if you are straying onto a Problematic Path in your Magickal Journey.
Finally, it's just downright Rude to ask people to do your Research for you. Asking Sincere Questions in an attempt to Learn is fine. Trying to get others to do the Groundwork you should be laying is not fine. Magick is intensely Personal; what works for one may easily not work for anyone else. It's all about the Energies you Manipulate, the Way you Manipulate them--your Intent and Will--and the Outcome you desire of them. No other person can bring all these Factors to the Table int he Unique Way that is You.
Magick is not a Game. It's not a Toy. It's not a Gumball Machine. It's not a "Get Out of Jail Free" Card. It is a Serious, Dedicated Practice whose Roots literally go back to the Dawn of Humanity. Treat it as such, is my Advice.
