Hello from a long time, curious lurker as well as a new student of witchcraft and member of the fascinating world of Wicca!
First, my real name is Brandi but kindly address me as "Madame Suki" on the forums (it's not because I am even remotely important on any divine scale, it is just a simple nickname, lol), or just merely "Suki" is fine.
As a 33-year-old female from a small quaint little town named "Hornell" in the Southern part of New York State, USA, I've recently developed a strong interest in witchcraft including the occult and unknown.
Growing up well into my young adult years as a regular Christian, I never really believed in "witchcraft" and even scoffed at the pagan religion, brushing off the whole idea of one becoming a Wiccan.
As time went on and I went through some life altering experiences I now can say I've changed many of my views, including how I see things, slowly pointing my personal beliefs towards a pagan-like form of "spirituality" thus considering myself not necessarily a witch as of yet but more of a "Spiritual Wiccan," if that makes any sense to anyone.
Anywho, I immediately fell in love when I first stumbled on to this website a while ago, and went back on it from time to time, and my curious fascination with the craft has grown steadily with each visit.
As I stated before here, I am really new to the art of witchcraft as well as the Wiccan religion. Therefore my experience with spells, white and black magic, Voodoo and Hoodoo is extremely minimal, but I hope to grow more after studying the information on this site, meeting new people and learning much more about those things as time progresses. I am especially interested in gathering up the needed ingredients for certain spells and learning to chant the necessary words; my main goal is to focus on how to mediate and let all of emotion and energy into these spells gravitate and flow as I practice these spells...
Anyway, it is an exciting honor to be part of this awesome website and these forums. I hope to gain as much knowledge in the witchcraft field as possible and create new friendships along the way of my journey!
There's certainly a lot of information here on this site alone, so I'm sure you'll find what you need. Experienced people here are also quick to point out when something is likely to be impossible as well, which is also a plus.
