A City?

The link-https://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=69520

Hi there. I read a bit on the Man in the Suit forum and someone talked about a link they'd found about this entity. The entity itself isn't what this thread's about though. I actually want to talk about something which I saw on that thread. Something about an astral city? I'm talking about the answer by Astral Traveler. Here it is-

Note:-The "#2" is something that another user said (flying and teleporting in the astral realm to avoid negative entities)

"I personally wouldn't urge others to do some of the things noted in #2. Particularly flying because in my experience flying can just attract even more negative attention since beings in most of these realms where you can and do encounter lower-vibrational beings don't fly around and if they do they only do it while invisible. In fact in some of these realms flying will get you harassed by the "astral police" and detained, it can be a sign that you're an astral projector and/or don't belong which in turn leads to more negative attention and harassment. Also in certain zones in these realms if you fly up a certain height there is often invisible very dark spirits waiting there for someone like us to try and break out of that zone into a higher one. In my experience most of the darkest beings I have encountered have been when flying in places in these lower-vibrational realms, and when flying in between realms in sort of astral buffering zones. Darker beings seem to wait in these zones invisible hoping for someone like us to fly past them so they can latch on and harass us. Beings that live in these realms know where it is safe to fly and where it is not, as astral projectors we can't even begin to know or sense that unfortunately and so we're basically flying blindly with no idea what may lurk ahead, behind, or above us.

So with that said in my personal opinion flying as a means of escaping should only be used as a last resort. Even in the astral cities of light flying or instant transportation such as teleportation in public is not allowed. Not because there is anything bad or wrong with it, but because not all the beings living there possess those abilities and they see it as unfair that some beings can do it and others cannot, it becomes a distraction and something to compare and build egos. I think what you suggested is sound advice my only disagreement is with the flying part as in my experience it has often created worse scenarios than what I was using it to deal with in the beginning."

1st Question:-Are some astral beings so low in terms of vibration that they can't fly or teleport like human beings? And if so, why are they so low vibrational? Is it because they're carrying so much negative energy it weighs them down and prevents them to fly or teleport?

2nd Question- What does it mean by "Astral cities of light" ?

3rd Question- What does he/she/they mean by "Astral Police"? If there's some sort of police force or anything resembling something like that in the Astral Realm, what kind of jobs do they have? What kind of criminals do they actually detain?

Also, not exactly part of my main question but what are some of the strangest and most mysterious/horrifying sights and you've seen in the astral realm?

Have you visited the astral realm of another world?

The astral levels of perception and exploration are challenging to discuss, especially when trying to talk about any sort of specific place or plane. There are always things to bear in mind, especially when it comes to reading/hearing about the experiences of others.

First, there are many different sorts of places and environments you can reach, though different people are drawn to different places. Especially when first starting out, you tend to arrive at places that you have a compatibility with- be it through predisposition, preconceptions, your own vibrational state, and of course what exactly you are looking for/the motivation and purpose you feel for trying to astral-travel to begin with.

Then there is how you perceive where you are. Remember that the human mind is designed to perceive and interpret information mostly through physicality. Sight, color, touch gravity, mass, the basic 'rules' of ourselves and the world around us. But the astral is a non-physical state, which becomes less and less relatable to physical methods of perception the further you get, especially in high-vibration levels such as where ascended masters, guides, etc reside. These places become less and less about form and space and more about concepts and archetypes, emotions and thought. Eventually I imagine perception would become little more than thought vibration and motion.

So, as this physically-centered mind encounters things in non-physical ways, it is up to your mind to 'translate' these new perceptions as best it can. Just like scientists discovering brand-new things for the first time, you begin 8nstinctively by comparing the new unknown with the closest concept you do know.

This is why the backgrounds of individual people affect the way they describe their experiences. An artist might focus on colors and blends of light. Shapes and feelings. Meanwhile an engineer might describe the same thing in terms of mechanics and forces. Machinery or vehicles or magnetics, etc. Two people could be in a place feeling of earth, shelter silence, and shelter. But one might describe it as a cave. The other as a forest. Maybe a third with military background might describe it as being in the safety of a bunker. Same place, different eyes.

The trick to gaining better insight from the experiences of others is to think of places and professions as more like approximate descriptions, or even symbolic interpreting. Consider what the places, images, and roles of the beings as interpretive through the frame of reference of the person describing it. Apply what is described through the eyes of the one describing it, instead of your own.

Another tip, well, more of a caution really, is that the very nature of exploring astrally blurs a few lines, and it is easy to have a small encounter, or a partial and dreamlike memory, and then in trying to understand it you try to fill the gaps with guesswork. But, too much guesswork can leave you losing track of what was encountered, and what was guesswork. Guesses can easily become thought as genuine, creating a memory that is more fiction than anything.

Self awareness is an important thing. When Journaling memories (if you journal them), only write down the things that happened. Even if it is just a single thought. Knowing you had a long conversation but only recall one particular sentence or idea. Having a single image, like a freeze-frame of a moment. A place, a time, something you are doing or having done to you. Then after writing the pieces, write your thoughts and theories as separate information.

As far as my own visits to the astral, most often I feel like I am in a more natural setting. Trees, mountains, and the like. Or places that feel more 'of the light'. no definable landscape per-se; just warmth, a sense of learning, being in the company of other beings, and activities of moving energies and acts of healing or other practicing of skills and ideas.

There have been a couple of odd events and places that come to mind, but considering how long this is already I will save that for sometime later.

It's no problem how long it is. Please, do share your experiences about those "odd" places.

Ok, holy wow sorry that I took so long to check back! Apparently I went and got myself all distracted with stuff.

It doesn't help that, as I have pondered about it, more and more I have been thinking that the places that stand out in my memories weren't that strange. More, it had to do with the circumstances around why I was there or the events that took place.

I should mention that when I travel, my memories of it tend to be in bits and pieces. I come back from it knowing I did 'something', or that I worked with my guide on something, but specific details tend to elude my conscious self, instead percolating around under the surface of my thoughts. So it takes something specifically significant for me to have specific memory of an event or place.

For example, not long after I began to succeed in astrally travelling (and when still relying on the help of my guide to do so) I found myself in the midst of a fight. I don't clearly recall why/how, and I remember not feeling particularly threatened, but fighting nonetheless. The being only had a vague form; humanoid with big shoulders and long arms, smoky black with two green points of light floating in the 'head' of an otherwise wispy body..

The immediate surroundings could be best described as rocky and ruined. Like an old watchtower that had collapsed or a small fighting pit. It gave the impression of being a place for challenges, so I tend to lean towards the 'fighting pit' or 'arena' idea. A large circular flat place, with a couple boulders, a tree, some bushes in a corner... Basically disused and in ill repair.

I experienced the astral back then as much closer to the physical than I do now, and the brief tussle reflected that. The being swiped at me, I slid in underneath and hit it with a sword (at the time, medieval imagery was my go-to for protection and will) and it backed off while hissing. I assumed I drove it off/made my point, so I dropped my defenses and turned away.

Next thing I knew I felt the sensation of claws ripping down my shoulder and arm, my guide slamming the being away, and then waking up from my little adventure, in bed, and spending about a half hour with my left arm being so numbed I could barely move it or open/close my hand.

I am to this day not sure what it was all about. If I had picked a fight, something hunted me down, or if it was some sort of re-creation/re-living of something from a past life I needed to bring forward so I could let it go. These days I lean towards the latter.

Another stand-out is when I was brought (with my guide) to some sort of... I guess a hall or council-like chamber. The area felt underground and cave-like. Cool, hint of moisture, and feeling old and earthy. The place was round-ish, more shaped like an egg on its side. The walls were natural cave, lumpy and coated in mineral deposits, with several alcoves. I never paid attention to how many. Each one was set up like a broad, slightly raised shelf cut in to the wall, and framed by pillars where stalagmites and stalagtites grew together enough to be one solid piece then were carved with random-seeming designs. Each alcove had a dragon sitting in it, each giving off a sense of incredible age, maturity, and having a very high/potent vibration. They gave the impression that they were the sort of beings that spiritual guides went to for their own further learning and growth.
