Would it be possible to cast an ambiguousobsession or love spell (without candles) that is not aimed towards one specific person?

Yes. You need not target anyone within a love spell.

You can cast a spell to generally increase the chances of attracting or meeting someone if that is what you mean.

And candles are not required for a love spell. There are other options, sachets, stonework, and even a poppet could work, the poppet used as a general representation of the non specific partner you'd like to attract.

Hope that helps.

Casting a love spell that is not aimed at a particular person is very possible to do. In fact it is often the best method to use.I generally suggest to my students that they cast a spell to draw love into their life, or to draw the person that is meant to love you into your life.

Since you can't use candles because your parents don't approve of the use of magic, there are other ways to go about doing things. One simple and very old method is cord or knot magic which requires nothing more complicated than a piece of string or yarn. Here's a link to an article I wrote on that you might find useful.

I'm really sorry about bothering you about something so simple. I understand I sound like a flighty teenager.

Asking honest questions to help with your practice is never a problem. That's how we learn. Don't worry about it.
