Coven Chatter - Only members of our coven can see it and respond to it. Treat it like a sort of common room for us. Feel free to do whatever (just don't do anything that'll make me kick you from the coven). Also, mods outside the Christian Wiccans can't see it.
Staying Active - Please please please type in the forums!! Many have not done the "Introduce Yourself" Forum. Please do that so we know who everyone is.
Class Openings - If you have anything (Literally anything ) you want to do a class/lecture on, please don't be shy or think you're letting your hubris get to you. I know Brimstone has been thinking of trying some discussions, and also MikaG, but I'd like at bare minimum two more people to help out. (Psst, you get council role if you do!)
If you show up to a class, I expect something from you. Even if you're just saying, "Yes, No, idk," say something. Do not leave your DL talking to an empty room.
If you cannot make it after saying you could, mail your discussion leader IMMEDIATELY.
If no one shows up after 15 minutes, class will be canceled at the DL's discretion.
Discussion Leaderswill keep notes in a Google Doc for absantees to catch up with. This includes a transcript of the class.
(If you don't know how that works, I will help you out)
Do not disrespect me or your other DL's by:
Ghosting
Ignoring discussion leaders (you can easily say, "I don't know")
Leaving class without saying anything.
Respect your classmates. If I get a message saying you were disrespectful to your classmate to a disruptive level, I will remove you from the coven and you will have to re-apply. I keep a notebook of members and on your application, you will have to say why you left and why you want to return.
If you need to leave for whatever reason, or if you are having technical difficulties, communicate that to your DL immediately.
Formally apologizing to everyone I didn't respond to: Here in the United States, yesterday was Thanksgiving, so my mind was entirely on that and I completely forgot about the meeting. With everything going on during the holidays around the world,I'm going to go individually ask around if we want to hold off until after the New Year's.
I've waited a month to let everyone settle in. We have some new members and we are now short council seats . Those who wish to be council or have anything they wish to contribute to the coven, please mail me. We have a lot to cover and I want to start this process as soon as possible.
Please send your mail to me no later than Feb. 28th.
Just so everyone knows, I am back from my vacation in Mexico, so let me know when you guys want to have a group prayer session. I will also be working out the details for our council meeting. If anyone has questions about either of those events feel free to ask.
I have been planning on running a lecture on Angelology on Chatter. Would anyone be interested in attending these classes? I haven’t set up a date or time yet, so please let me know what day and time works for you! Blessed be.
