Attracting Items?

Hi.

I've recently had an experience where I found a stone I had been looking into.

Last month I found a type of stone on ebay called cacoxenite amethyst.

I looked into it a bit. Well the beginning of this month I went to my local charity thrift shop. I bought a pendant I found there that I noticed was a stone. I bought it and looked into it. Researched. I discovered it was a small cacoxenite amethyst pendant.

This happens to me often.

My father and I went out. I was going to another thrift store. On our way was a local consignment shop that had stuff for free at the end of the driveway. I picked up a few things and went in to make sure they were indeed free.

Later that evening I felt it too bad that I didn't find any jewelry and thought maybe the next day I'd have my father take me again to see if there was any jewelry. Next morning my dad comes back from the store and passes a box over. In it was a bag of jewelry and in this bag a few neat necklaces particularly what looks like a handmade hematite necklace.

I am wondering if this is a form of magic? Whenever I draw up sigil sometimes I use them to attract certain things or find certain things. It happens to work the majority of the time.

Is this possibly a type of magic I haven't been able to find too much written on? Manifestation?

Using sigils to draw things to you, send them away, etc is a common practice among a good portion of people in the occult community. It's a physical representation of your will or desire and it can be charged and powered to help manifest your desire.

As for the amethyst, it has connections to dreams, peace, psychic awareness, love, sleep, etc. It's possible that these are areas in which you need a bit of a boost of some kind and are naturally drawn to the stone for this reason. You could also be drawn to it because it vibrates or radiates at the same wavelength of your own energy and aura.

I'd suggest looking to crystal and gem stone magic/magical uses and sigil magic, if those are both things that you feel drawn to.

I've been practicing with sigils for a few years. I've read up on sigil magic a bit and some on chaos magic.

Crystal magic I know less of. I understand how to use it. But I have difficulty incorporating stones into spell work. I like to use stones for charms, currently I've paired the amethyst pendant with the hematite bead necklace as protection charms. I also from time to time like to use stones for healing and meditation.

I don't tend to incorporate them in too much spell work as ingredients.

Many of my spells are in sigil form anyway.

I am interested in both these types of magic. I'll have to delve into a little more research thank you.

I have similar experiences where a topic or detail of a topic flows forth from the abyss and then a cascade of information or tangible items appear in my life, sometimes continually until the lesson is learned or the topic is no longer necessary or relevant. Your mind will attract similar aspects to your thoughts as you focus on them and yes this is a form of magic. I have often found thrift shop items to long for the right person. The energy of the object is communicating with the universe just as we do, moving it towards what is attracting it and what it is attracted to.I have had a vast array of items call to me as well as some that have felt fowl when touched. Attraction magic is one of the basic yet also advanced practices of the craft. This is a type of manifestation were the caster or magical practitioner is utilizing focus, often sustained, as well as actions, such as drawing a sigil or holding a stone while chanting.

Amethyst is a great stone to work with and it is very versatile.Amethyst is a Protective healing stone that helps with calming the mind, meditation, rest, sleep, dreams, the brain in general including psychic development. Hematite is a grounding stone that is also protective and helps to balance meridians creating an equilibrium between the ethereal and physical nervous systems.
