Merry meet, my friends.

Good morrow to ye all. I am Kiefer1996 (aka. Rowan96 on other places). I am an aspiring Wiccan. Well, I was raised with Christian faith, but I believe there is "Christian-Wiccan" spirituality? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Also forgive me if talk of Christianity is not allowed.

On my 23rd birthday, my stepfather gave me a spell book. I don't know where it came from, he refused to tell me. I've been writing my own spells in it since that time, for as long as I can remember.

While I'm here, I need to ask a question.

I am trying to learn herbalism, mainly, to identify certain herbs and what their magickal properties are. But I'm so novice in it, I haven't the slightest idea how to tell one herb from another, or even tell what herb it is. Should I just find reference images? Get myself a book? Please keep in mind I am still relatively new to magick (I specialize in White magick, though) and I want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

I would study those, if you want a book, then go ahead and get one :) I honestly just look at the herbalism on here, and study that certain herb (sage for example, burning it helps get rid of negative energy and helps positive energy, spirits also hate sage.)
