Astral Advice

I've only delved into the astral plane twice. Once naturally through sleep paralysis as a child, seeing myself, and snapping back to my body. The second was through lucid dreaming but I'm not entirely sure what happened.

How does the perception of being away from your body feel? I been doing techniques and one time just last night I had about fallen asleep but kept focused on the thought of leaving my body, I could easily imagine another version of myself exiting my body but my head and focus didn't. It'd almost look like my astral form was stuck to my head if one was watching.

Then I got frustrated and snapped out of the state I was in and got mad. This work is frustrating.

This is common. Just keep practicing! And try to get as relaxed as possible. When you get stuck just stay calm wait and focus on feeling free and light.

I'm aware that it takes months for people to get into it good. I just want to know what the perception is to one that does this.

After you reach the hypnotic stage with your eyes closed and your body vibrating which I've reached before, whay happens during the transition period to an OBE? Is all of a sudden my vision gained like my eyes are open again but I'm floating out of my body? Or do I need to make the physical decision to open my eyes and discover it's my astral eyes that open?

I just ask so it can help me grasp the expectations and help me when I try to accomplish an OBE.

Yes it may differ for some people but yes your eyes may open as you float up. Or you may want to think something like open eyes.

I'll try to open eyes on the astral level.

Still though, perhaps to anyone else that is experienced in astral projection... How does it feel once you've left your body, what do you percieve? Once I understand this concept perhaps I'll be able to do it and imagine in when I'm mentally projecting and transitioning into astral projection. This is the question that I've been asking and yet to see an answer to.

Oh sorry left your question out. It feels like pins are picking all over and you may feel light and you may hear a loud pop or bang.... It's not something you can just explain. It's something that will be experienced I guess. Sorry I am not much help good luck.
