Unlocking Coven Creation

Since I last was on here in the year of 2013, I noticed many of the pre-existing inactive covens have thus far been filled with new leaders. Now the only ones left are sadly foul named, vague, and honestly should be given up or deleted.

With that I think it would be profitable for the site to either charge in the creation of new future covens, (whist being managed by moderation to ensure the coven has a unique purpose of existence to exclude repeats, and checks to ensure the coven keeps to its origin purpose, as well as validating icons to be under fair use, etc etc.) Or simply allow the creation of covens a possibility with above moderation, as well as ensuring leaders are great, mature, and respectful beneficiaries to our community.

Food for thought. I'd love to make a non religious energy and self growth based psychedelic drug coven myself in the future after I show more contribution.

That feature has been locked on Spells of Magic for the time being and new covens are not to be created at the moment.

There are plenty of already existing covens on this site that teach and specialize in a great deal of magic fields.
If you wish to join a coven to learn, feel free to browse the coven listings page (Groups tab) where each existing coven is listed appearing next to its picture/logo.

If you are concerned about what they teach or include simply view their homepages (by clicking on the coven's title) and you may possibly find the information you seek. If your concerns are not answered by viewing their homepage, it usually works to simply email the coven leaders or if the coven has council members they may sometimes be able to help as well.

Remember, new coven applications are closed and new covens are not as of right now, able to be created.
So please do refrain from creating new threads asking how to go about creating them, again, it can not be done right now.

Jose_kins is correct. The Site Administrator has no intention of removing the block on creating new covens at this time as there are plenty of covens currently in existence.
