Dream meaning?

I didn't know where to post this. I had a dream I was in a sports competition, the first sport was archery. I got second place. The second was I had to play on a team for basketball, and our team won. Then we did a few water races, but I was in only one of them. My team had won second place out of three places. I was happy when we won. What would this mean?

Have you been playing a lot of Wii Fit recently? I don't mean this at all sarcastically; it's just that it's your user name, and your love for the Wii and its games are in your profile. If you have been (and I'm definitely not criticizing!), it could possibly be the "Zelda effect" (I think some may call it Zelda syndrome). Basically, it's when elements from some long-term repeated action or constant activity become prevalent in dreams. It was named after people who were playing the original Zelda games, which could not be saved, and people would play them for many hours at a time. In turn, they would dream about either the game itself, or some personified version with similarities. I experienced similar when I had an affinity for a particular online game some years back; I dreamed for several nights that I (me, personally, not the avatar in the game) was entering a certain dungeon, battling skeletons, and desperately leaving to find rest outside until I regained my health.

Even if you've been playing a game for years without experiencing this, it can start suddenly. It's simply your subconscious replaying elements of the game along with some outcomes of in-game events.
