I have sooooooo many questions about the Fae (Faeries). All I know is that they are Celtic beings. Do they speak English? Scottish Gaelic? Is it possible to meet them? Communicate with them?
If you can give me any advise, Thank you.
The fae are spirits, they communicate in ways that we don't entirely understand, but when we form a connection with them, we are able to communicate. They don't solely exist in the Celtic Isles, they exist worldwide but are considered to be more prolific within Celtic regions.
Should probably be in Spiritual Creatures section. There are many varieties of fae, with various means of cryptic communication methods. Some will seem more straight forward, others will be difficult to interpret. A lot of people wanting to work with them will leave them small little gifts/offerings. Not all fae are friendly though, some are rather nasty.
The Fae have many names such as Wights and Land Spirits depending on the path of the people that interact with them. Each of the paths have specifics about them but there are some commonalities that you will find useful in your search.
They inhabit natural features such as forests, trees, ancestral land and natural water sources.
They are present in the home in areas that are set for communal use such as kitchens and fireplaces.
They prefer to remain unseen and their activity is usually discovered by surprise. The result of which is determined by your relationship with them, good or bad.
They are like all other spiritual beings. They enjoy being acknowledged and thanked for their support. Leave them offerings frequently and good things will mysteriously appear. Treat them well around your home and property and they will help to keep things safe.
Always remember that they have been around for many more years than all of us. If they wish to communicate, they will initiate the contact. Otherwise, just accept and politely live in their midst without disturbing them or trying to invite yourself into their world. Do your best to keep their homes peaceful and comfortable and they will do the same for you.
